SDG Courses in Sign Language

Leave no one behind (LNOB) is a principle and a transformative promise of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. We wish to do our bit and show our unequivocal commitment to this principle

  • SDG Education courses in Sign Language: Our specialist pedagogue, Maya will host short workshops in sign languages for all children with hearing or speaking challenges. Our courses are inspired by The United Nations’ events and are designed with standard UN material that explains the Sustainable Development Goals. Our courses are similar to the ones in other schools but with sign language. We usually ask for help from in house pedagogues and teachers as the children tend to know and relate to them a bit more.
  • Fun activities and  projects: We try to make the learning a fun filled exercise with games and biodiversity themed projects so that they connect with nature and its elements. They range from planting seeds in a hydroponic setup to visualising the greenhouse gas effects with water-based experiments. Our project ideas are usually in consultation with schools as we like to ensure the children are comfortable with the themes and experiments we choose.
